On Saturday, November 7th Kurt and I went to the Military Ball in Idaho Falls. My sister was gracious enough to loan me a semi-formal dress and do my hair.

Here we are, all ready to go to the Ball.

Carving Pumkins

Okay, so I know it's a little lame that it took us this long to post this, but better late than never I guess. Before Halloween, Kurt and I had a pumkin carving date night.

We had to put the pumkins on our picnic table outside so that Gus and Carmel wouldn't eat them!

Here's what they looked like in the dark.

And here they are in the light.

This one was Kurt's...

...and this one was mine.

Kurt and Morgan's Grand Adventure

At the Narrows, Kurt and Morgan decided to take on the task of climbing to this cave.

They start their trek across the river...

They decide to link arms for balance...Don't worry, we know what it looks like, but they are both married...to girls.

They make it to the cave and now must get into it somehow...

A little help...

Almost there...

They made it!!

And now the journey home...

And they're here!

On our way home from Vegas, we stopped at Zions National Park with our friends Morgan and Katie Cox. We hiked the famous Narrows, where most of the hiking takes place in water.

I wasn't exactlybright when I wore white capris. We all know what happens when white clothing gets wet. Because of this, Kurt and Morgan had to carry me through a part of the hike where the water came up past your waste. Whoa, hubby, watch the hands!

The Hoover Dam

While we were in Vegas, we took a day to visit the Hoover Dam. It was a fun little excursion.

Anniversary in Vegas!

We will be having our 2nd Wedding Anniversary the 31st of this month. So, we went to Vegas (a little early) to celebrate.
Here's a pic from a supposedly world famous cactus garden. We didn't think it was that amazing, but oh well.

This was outside the Chocolate Factory.

And my favorite, the Las Vegas temple. We wanted to do a session, but it was closed for cleaning. Dang it! Guess that gives us an excuse to go back!

Well, we haven't exactly done anything new or exciting lately. We're both working fulltime now, so that and school pretty much constitutes the summary of our lives. But, I figured I better do a posting before Erin gets upset and tells us we need to update our blog. A friend of ours recently took pictures for us. Here's some fun ones. Kurt and I will be going to Vegas soon for our 2 year anniversary. Update and pics from that to come in the future.

We recently went camping with Kurt's buddy Morgan and his wife Katie. We went to Zion's National Park and it was flippin' sweet. Even Kurt, who used to hate camping with a passion, really enjoyed it.

Time to relax and play. We may seem like very professional adults, but really, we're kids at heart!

Tiling the Floor

Our cute little fixer-upper starter home seems to continually be under renovation. This day's project: putting in new vinyl tile for the bathroom.
